Over twenty of the world’s leading arms trade experts have issued a statement in support of UN Special Rapporteur, Francesca Albanese, and specifically her recent report to the United Nations “From Economy of Occupation to Economy of Genocide” which reveals those corporations complicit in the genocide in Gaza and analyses the nature and consequences of this complicity.
This support is a reflection of the importance, quality and rigour of Ms. Albanese’s work, at a time when she is under unprecedented and unjustified attack by the US and Israeli governments. Rather than attack this crucial report and its esteemed author, these states, and all countries, should urgently apply and enforce all arms export controls, which must lead to an immediate cessation of arms sales to Israel while the genocide continues.
